Countryside Events is a family run business with a stunning lakeside wedding venue.
Based within our family farm in the beautiful rolling countryside of Rood Ashton, Trowbridge.
We will help as much or as little as required and are proud to work in conjunction with local, trusted businesses.
Booking our lakeside venue provides you with a blank canvas to make your wedding your own. We will not restrict you to a pre-approved list of suppliers, nor do we charge corkage fees on welcome drinks.

ROOD ASHTON LAKE
At countryside events, we only hold a limited number of weddings a year. Making the beautiful surroundings a more personal, unique place to be. This does mean that dates are snapped up quite quickly, especially once couples come to see the venue in person!
We include our professional pay bar service within the hire cost- which includes the bar unit, fully stocked with experienced staff, which we can tailor to your preferences.
All Marquee/Tipi and Catering and outside suppliers are sourced by you.
Every event here is tailor made to the individuals and we will not re-strict you to a pre-set supplier list, although we will happily recommend a few we have worked with in the past.
We have a variety of guest accommodation available to hire. Including x2, two bedroom luxury apartments on the farm and up to 6 bell tents available for glamping.
From strawbale seating, small marquees, firepits and outdoor games to lighting and bunting- we’ve got the finishing touches available to hire at the venue.

We wanted our wedding to be a calm, relaxed country themed wedding, the field and marquee provided us with a wonderful blank canvas to make it our own, the country setting provided us with unparalleled views and fantastic setting for some wonderful photos that will help us to remember a fantastic day for years to come.

This venue is a hidden gem! It is in the perfect location with beautiful scenery, the diversity of it is fantastic. You can do so many different and creative things with it. Lovely family who are very helpful, highly recommend!
